Books

I have been reading a bit recently, and luckily for you (!) here are the results (in descending order of brilliance)...

  1. Nudge by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein
    • 'The bible of behavioural economics' is the single most influential and important book on the subject, despite being fun to read.
  2. The Economics of Good and Evil by Tomas Sedlacek
    • Quite possibly the most gripping book I have ever read; a brilliant whistle-stop tour of economics.
  3. Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman
    • A clear and thorough overview of the psychology involved in behavioural economics by one of the masters.
  4. Priceless  by William Poundstone
    • The fantastic book that first got me interested in behavioural economics.
  5. Economyths  by David Orrell
    • An engaging argument..."Neoclassical economics isn't a theory, it's an excuse.
  6. Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely
    • A fun and fallible introduction to behavioural economics by an expert communicator.
